Disney Infinity’s website has recently been updated to include Spot in the line up on the Disney Originals character page. While Spot’s page is missing the featured character video, it does provide a quick glimpse at his special attack and other skill tree upgrades.
From touring his skill tree we get a strong feeling that this character will be a power house when it comes to his special ability, comparable to Yoda’s strong attack, with lots of special move meter upgrades and quick bursts of powerful bashing.
Check out a video of Spot in action at the bottom of the page!
Here are the highlights / unique skills found in Spot’s Skill Tree:
Health & Defense
Spot has the unique option of upgrading into the Super Strength character trait, which was introduced in 2.0 with characters such as The Hulk.
And it looks like Spot is going to have a pretty impressive super jump, with these two upgrades:
Checking out Spot’s Special Ability skill tree, it looks like Yoda might not only be the small yet super powerful special attack king. Spot’s “Wild Thing” ability appears to have lots of special move meter upgrades (x5), allowing players to spam the attack and wipe out huge groups of enemies.
Not much going on in the Melee Skill Tree other than an absolutely adorable play on the characters name for his ground pound attack.
Spot’s Ranged Attack tree is very bare bones, but does give us a look into his ranged attack being similar to some Jedi characters with a dash vs. a ranged weapon. His upgrade looks like it will add some additional fun animations and perhaps some decent distance for speedy attacking and travel.
The Good Dinosaur Power Discs
Disney Infinity’s Power Disc section has also been updated to include the four Toy discs from The Good Dinosaur: Nash, Ramsey, Arlo & Butch. (No new information or images for the discs, just the addition to the site’s line up).
